RHDV2 is an extremely lethal virus that spreads easily among rabbits. Veterinarians can now protect rabbits with a highly effective vaccine from Medgene Labs.
Medgene Labs has been working on a solution to RHDV2 since the 2020 outbreak. Recently granted emergency-use authorization by the USDA, the vaccine uses genetically modified cells that are injected so that the body creates the proteins.
